When a user wants to control a smart product, he/she should first take out the smart phone with the APP installed, find out the corresponding icon of the device he/she wants to control from the numerous APP icons, open the icon, and then find out the function buttons he/she wants to control layer by layer. After selecting the button, he/she can click it. The whole process is still a little complicated.
In the online control mode, sometimes the mobile phone is out of power, or the network signal is bad, or the users has installed too much APP is to find the desired APP icon, which makes the user experience very bad.
Online voice recognition products often failure due to the bad Wi-Fi signal or internet jam. Offline voice recognition control products are much easier to use, no need install APP, no need to rely on Wi-Fi environment; out-of-the-box; control the products by speech recognition,; man-machine conversation; get revert immediately; it’s really convenient and fast.
On the other hand, whether it's setting a password, identifying yourself, or using it on a daily basis, it can reveal personal privacy. In other words, online speech recognition control products are actually far inferior to offline speech recognition control products in terms of convenience, privacy and security.
Therefore, in the current application field of smart home products, the offline voice recognition control method is better than the online voice control method if it is compared from multiple perspectives such as user experience and personal privacy protection.
