In the previous four articles, we’ve introduced the five characteristics of offline speech recognition control module applications: "small", "light", "intelligent" and "excellent". Today, we will continue with the last one, "beautiful".
As a designer whose works won the IF Industrial Design Award of Germany in 2017, I prefer to use the simplest appearance design and the most direct and convenient control method to meet the needs of users. In my opinion, the more concise the design made, the better users experience will be.
Offline speech recognition control, which allows users to use voice commands instead of buttons to control products, eliminates almost all buttons on products. Without constrain by buttons, it gives the designer a great deal of freedom. From now on, we can expect a steady stream of creative product designs.
Every technological revolution always brings a wave of innovation and design carnival. Such is the invention of steam engine technology, the appearance of smart phone. The application of voice recognition control technology should be same as above events.
